The Reserve Command's Zhongai Camp recently held the 2024 "Min An No. 10 and Wan An No. 47 Exercise Review Meeting". The meeting was chaired by Vice Chief of General Staff, General Cheng, and attended by representatives from central government agencies, affiliated management units, local governments, military units, and command authorities. The purpose of the meeting was to review and exchange opinions in order to improve the effectiveness of the exercises and training.
During the meeting, General Cheng awarded outstanding units and, on behalf of the Minister of National Defense and the Chief of General Staff, expressed gratitude to government departments, local governments, and agencies for their support in exercises and disaster relief efforts, thanking them for their long-term commitment to national defense.
General Cheng highlighted that this year's "Min An" and "Wan An" exercises included live drills, critical infrastructure protection, and emergency evacuation kit promotion to verify "all-out defense resilience" and local disaster response. President Lai stressed the importance of readiness in the first meeting of the "All-out Defense Resilience Committee" to strengthen response and national defense resilience.
General Cheng emphasized the need for continued coordination between governments, military, and public/private sectors to ensure disaster response and military effectiveness, safeguarding citizens' lives and property.
