Peacetime:

Thepeacetime duties contain five major jobs, namely management, organization, muster-call and training, talent acquisition for armed forces, and the mobilization of the military reserve forces as well as their Rear Echelon Administration Service and the disaster prevention and relief.

Wartime:

In the war time, the military reserve forces are organized to assist in carrying out the first-line coastal defense and battle-in-depth for battle zones, continue to mobilize and deploy the “All-out Defense Mobilization” mechanism to ensure a steady supply of military manpower, support ground operations and safeguard national security.
