Both the Bell Tower and Drum Tower are octagonal pavilions covered with green-glazed tiles. In the Bell Tower there is a statue of martyr Lu Hao Tong on the first floor and a bell on the second floor, while the Drum Tower there is a statue of martyr Shi Jian Ru on the first floor and a Drum on the second floor. The second floors of both buildings are not open to the tourists.
