Lt. Gen. Liao Commends Nantou Reserve Personnel for Outstanding Service

The Nantou County Reserve Command held the “2026 Reserve Personnel Promotion and Cadre Commendation Ceremony,” presided over by Lieutenant General Liao Chien-hsing, Director-General of the All-out Defense Mobilization Agency. Distinguished guests included Legislator Lo Mei-ling; Shen Che-fang, Director-General of the Department of Conscription Administration; Lin Chi-yu, Director of Nantou County Civil Affairs; Liu Ping-chou, Deputy Commander of the Civil Defense Corps; Hsieh Tsung-hung, Police Chief; and Hung Chao-lun, Deputy Fire Director. The event highlighted strong military-civilian unity.
Director-General Liao, together with Lieutenant General Yu and Major General Tao, presented rank insignia to promoted reservists and honored outstanding reserve role models, including exemplary reservists, advisory and public affairs cadres, and new cultural and arts members. The honorees were recognized for their dedication, performance, and selfless contributions to national defense. Reservists were encouraged to uphold loyalty, enhance readiness, and strengthen public support for national defense.
In his remarks, Liao called on reserve units to advance military mobilization, civil–military integration, and civil affairs coordination, put into practice “service in peacetime, mobilization in wartime,” and boost preparedness to safeguard national security and social stability. (Youth Daily News)
